YOYO media was founded in 2006 by Jo Hallows who was Head of Drama at Mersey Television and responsible for the success of Channel 4's Flagship programme Hollyoaks. 

YOYO media is a regional independent television production company, whose primary focus is to specialise in devising and producing popular mainstream drama and factual entertainment formats.

YOYO media are working with some of the UK's leading writing, directing and on-screen talent to produce bold, innovative and cutting edge programming as well as promoting and nurturing exciting new talent.  The team are building a diversified portfolio to include multi-platform solutions that interact and integrate the audience through all forms of technology.

This BAFTA award winning team has developed and produced in excess of 2000 hours of popular television, is responsible for leading Hollyoaks from 1-5 nights per week and producing acclaimed programming such as Coronation Street, Ultimate Force, Prime Suspect and Casualty.
